Thank you so much to everyone for making me feel so welcome today. I’m normally the person sat on my own not daring to speak to anyone or feeling really awkward and it felt so nice sitting and chatting with people today, definitely way out of my comfort zone but was great. I’ve had the most wonderful couple days in Derby!! The In Person Day yesterday hosted by Heather Palfreyman was just so amazing, so empowering and uplifting. Thank you Heather so much!!

I came back to my hotel room last night and cried, I felt so happy and emotional. I stepped completely out of my comfort zone this weekend. I came to a big city all on my own, not knowing where I was going or who I was even meeting! I managed to find my way and that led me to meet a bunch of amazing women. I just feel so proud. Without Heather I’d never had had the confidence to go to such an event and go on my own! Probably doesn’t sound a big deal, but a year ago I wouldn’t of even thought of attending! I can’t wait to the next one!!

Amazing day today at the More Than Just Mum in person day! I’ve laughed, I’ve cried and I’ve had some lightbulb moments …

I even shared my journey from 2020 to now which was emotional and so nerve racking but I am so glad I didn’t give up and carried on … this morning I was like ok I cant do this but I took a step out of my comfort zone and into the fear zone and into the learning zone to be able to achieve what I wanted to … felt great after I had shared my story and had some amazing feedback from the ladies there!

So now it’s time to continue to grow to achieve all I want to achieve! For ME… no one else but ME!
